"Mrs. America" recounts to the tale of the development to approve the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA), and the startling backfire drove by a moderate lady named Phyllis Schlafly, otherwise known as "the darling of the quiet greater part." Through the eyes of the ladies of the period - both Schlafly and second-wave women's activists Gloria Steinem, Betty Friedan, Shirley Chisholm, Bella Abzug and Jill Ruckelshaus - the arrangement investigates how perhaps the hardest battleground in the way of life wars of the '70s helped offer ascent to the Moral Majority and always moved the political scene.
